Election software is unusual: the product only works if sceptical people believe it. That shapes how we build and who we look for.
Open roles
We have no advertised vacancies at the moment. Rather than list roles we are not hiring for, we would rather say that plainly.
We do read speculative applications, and we keep good ones on file. If you are strong in any of the following, get in touch and tell us what you have built:
- Backend engineering — TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL.
- Applied machine learning — face recognition, liveness, document analysis.
- Mobile engineering — React Native, Android, on-device biometrics.
- Security engineering — application security, threat modelling, cryptography.
- Election operations — running member elections, and knowing where they go wrong.
How we work
Accuracy over polish
We do not ship claims we cannot substantiate. If a capability is not implemented, our own marketing says so — you will see that across this site.
Audits are welcome
We run hard audits on our own work and publish the uncomfortable results internally. Being wrong early is much cheaper than being wrong during an election.

African identity documents, Kenyan networks, feature phones and real branch structures — designed for the conditions our users actually have.
Consequences are real
If we get this wrong, someone loses their vote or a disputed result damages an organisation. That is a good reason to be careful.
