Common questions
Our statute prescribes how our election must be conducted. Can you accommodate it?
Often, but not always — and the honest answer depends on the specific clause. Send us the relevant provisions of your Act or constitution before you commit. If a requirement such as single-transferable-vote counting is outside what we support today, we will tell you plainly rather than improvise.
Can we appoint an external returning officer?
Yes. You can grant an external officer their own credentials with the access their role requires, and their actions are recorded like any other official’s.
What about members without reliable internet?
The ballot is lightweight and works on a modest connection, and SMS notifications reach members who are hard to email. For members who genuinely cannot get online, plan a supervised option at your secretariat.
